Supporting Primary Care Professionals to Confidently Treat Behavioral Health Issues

How does this ECHO work?

Participants will join the hub team in case-based learning via videoconferencing. Together, participants will be able to:

  • detect mental health concerns in kids and teens
  • diagnose and treat (medications and therapies) common mental health disorders in kids and teens
  • make referrals to treat mental health concerns in kids and teens, as appropriate
  • support kids and teens in their treatment for mental health disorders

The Child Psych ECHO empowers and supports primary care professionals to more effectively and confidently treat patients suffering from behavioral health issues.

This ECHO is an integration of medical, pharmacological and psychological considerations into the treatment of the behavioral health patient. Participants receive expert behavioral health specialist knowledge in a virtual learning network with University of Missouri and Compass Health providers. Learn about best practices and evidence-based care for children with behavioral health concerns on 2nd & 4th Fridays from noon to 1 p.m. (September-June).
