Finding Solutions to Address Vaping, Tobacco, and Nicotine Use Challenges

How does this ECHO work?

Participants will join the hub team in case-based learning via videoconferencing. Together, participants will be able to:

  • Utilize best-practice strategies to assess individuals for vaping, tobacco, and nicotine use and exposure
  • Provide or refer to best-practice treatments including behavioral counseling and pharmacotherapy
  • Increase quit attempts and reduce vaping, tobacco, and nicotine use among identified users
  • Advocate for tobacco control policies and reduction in barriers to treatment at the school, healthcare system, local, state, and federal levels.
  • Access tobacco treatment providers across the state (and nationally)

The impact of vaping, tobacco, and nicotine is far reaching—Therefore, healthcare professionals, primary care clinicians, pediatricians, psychiatrists, behavioral health specialists, and school professionals are all invited to join these ECHO sessions.

This ECHO aims to provide a combination of best-practice tools and strategies to achieve optimum and equitable health for patients, students, and families.

A team of experts and specialists in vaping, tobacco, and nicotine cessation will offer online, collaborative learning sessions every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from noon to 1:00pm.
